The DATEV training "Accounting (Basics)" is aimed at beginners who want to learn how to use the DATEV software. You practice the most important accounting steps independently on your own training computer using a sample case. During the two-day training, the trainer shows you the work steps using realistic practice exercises in DATEV.
In the seminar, you learn to record receipts digitally and create journal entries reliably. You work with the chart of accounts SKR03 and SKR04 and submit the advance VAT return via ELSTER. You manage open items as well as the business evaluation and the trial balance.
The content includes the basic settings and program options in DATEV as well as setting up company master data. You learn to adjust the chart of accounts, make opening entries, and work with batch and dialog posting. Dealing with debtors and creditors as well as split postings is also part of the course.
Each participant works on their own PC with the full version of DATEV. You book the training either live online or in person at eight locations in Germany. Both formats run in the official DATEV training environment with real case studies. The seminar times are from 9:00 am to approx. 5:00 pm.
The training is suitable for beginners who will use DATEV in accounting in the future. These include, for example, self-employed individuals, office and finance employees, and new law firm starters. You should have basic knowledge of bookkeeping; prior knowledge of DATEV is not required.
After completing the training, you receive a certificate that confirms your expertise in using DATEV. INCAS Training is an authorized DATEV education partner and has been training the software for more than 15 years. The trainers bring several years of professional experience from daily professional life.
