The continuing education course "DATEV Lohn und Gehalt (Vertiefung)" deepens your payroll and salary accounting with DATEV. It begins with client and master data management as well as initial entries in DATEV. This is followed by recording master data, the actual payroll process, reports, and typical special cases in payroll accounting.
Another section covers tax law and corporate taxes. You deal with trade tax, corporate income tax, VAT, as well as income and payroll tax, and learn about tax obligations and deadlines. Building on that, you move on to posting and valuing business transactions, including typical sources of error.
At the end of the course, the focus is on monthly and quarterly financial statements as well as the annual financial statements using DATEV. You work through everything from account reconciliation to the profit and loss statement. In addition, a module refreshes the basics of accounting, such as account types, accounting obligations, and the digitalization of accounting processes.
The process is completely digital. You learn full-time with 37.5 hours per week or flexibly part-time, accompanied by a personal learning coach. You get support Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
The continuing education course is aimed at people who want to get started in financial accounting with DATEV. It is also suitable for those who want to deepen their knowledge of payroll and salary accounting. Prerequisites are German language skills at B2 level and your own laptop or one provided by OneCareer.
At the end, you receive the OneCareer provider certificate. As a participant, you get access to OneCareer's job placement service. Those who receive a funding approval also get a free additional course on Artificial Intelligence.
