In the continuing education course "Financial Accounting with DATEV", you will learn both modules of financial accounting. You start at the DATEV workplace and review the theoretical basics of bookkeeping. Then you use DATEV programs to book outgoing and incoming invoices, payroll, bank and cash for November and December. Finally, you prepare the annual financial statements, including fixed asset accounting, closing entries and trade tax.
The qualification takes place as live online training with an experienced trainer. You receive an account for the DEKRA Learncube, the digital learning environment with access to learning materials. In the virtual room, you exchange ideas with other participants just like in a real seminar room. A mix of theoretical explanations and practical exercises in the DATEV system keeps you engaged.
Each weekly module concludes with an internal DEKRA practical exam. You have one hour for each task in the DATEV cloud application. At the end, you receive the certificate from the DEKRA Akademie.
The continuing education course is aimed at anyone who wants to further qualify in financial accounting or reorient professionally. Prerequisites are a consultation at the DEKRA Akademie and basic commercial knowledge in accounting. Without these prerequisites, the DEKRA Akademie recommends you take the seminars KBM09 to KBM12 in advance. Module 2 can only be booked together with Module 1. The groups are kept small with a maximum of 12 participants.
After the continuing education course, you will know the DATEV workplace as a central control and information platform. You master the commercial basics and post business transactions correctly. You also learn to create and correctly interpret business evaluations.
The DEKRA Akademie brings over 40 years of experience in adult education. It is certified according to DIN ISO 9001 and approved according to AZAV. As an official DATEV education partner, experienced professionals develop the online offerings. If you combine the continuing education course with the seminar "Payroll Accounting with DATEV", funding under the Qualification Opportunities Act may be possible under certain circumstances.
