Specialists in payroll accounting are the contact person for all salary questions in the company. They organize, manage and monitor the payroll accounting and prepare the payroll statements for employees. That's exactly what this continuing education course prepares you for.
In the first part you learn the basics of payroll accounting. This includes tax and social insurance regulations, remuneration forms, gross wage calculation and net wage calculation as well as the monthly and annual closing. In the advanced module, special wage components are added, for example severance payments, company pension schemes, travel expenses and wage garnishment. The module is supplemented by special billing groups and tax audits.
Then you practice accounting directly in the software, first with Lexware, then with DATEV. In the Payroll Accounting Practice Workshop you apply your knowledge with the client GOLDBERG E-Bikes GmbH. You accompany the document cycle over the year, from individual payrolls to the annual closing with wage tax certificates and social insurance reports.
At the end there is an online exam for the DATEV certificate Application Payroll and Salary. The certificate is recognized by companies and tax firms as a proof of competence. It certifies nationally comparable knowledge in payroll accounting with DATEV Payroll and Salary.
The lessons run live online in the WBS LearnSpace 3D. With your own avatar you are moving through a virtual learning environment via two screens and a headset. You are connected live and interactive with your trainer and fellow learners. The continuing education course lasts 61 days full-time.
The course is aimed at job seekers, people returning to work, and experienced professionals with completed commercial training or professional experience in HR or accounting. As a specialist in payroll accounting with practical experience and a DATEV certificate, you will then be well prepared for your next job. Positions are possible in industry, trade, crafts or the service sector.
