Office Management (Xpert Business)

In the online continuing education course "Büromanagement" at Comhard GmbH, you learn the tools for the modern office routine. You practice teamwork with Microsoft Teams and digital notes with OneNote. In the module on office organization, you prepare specifically for the Xpert Business exam, including document management and minute-taking. Additionally, there are touch typing and letter design according to DIN 5008.

With MS Outlook, you organize appointments, tasks, and addresses. In Excel, you prepare numbers and data, for example for discount calculations or travel expense reports. PowerPoint teaches you professional presentations including diagrams. Word shows you the creation of business documents and mail merges. I think it's good that Comhard also incorporates the use of AI assistants here.

The course runs full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, and lasts 3 months. Currently, you can choose between two dates: September 10 to December 2, 2026, or March 3 to June 1, 2027. The lessons take place nationwide online, so you don't have to plan any travel. Comhard offers you interactive online lessons and provides suitable learning materials.

The continuing education course is aimed at you if you want to acquire a basic qualification in the office field without or with a non-recognized vocational training. The course also suits you as a career returnee or with a foreign degree in the office field. You need basic PC skills for this. As a non-native speaker, you need German at least at level B2.

At the end, you receive a certificate and a certification from Comhard GmbH as well as the Xpert Business certificate. With that, you have three proofs in your pocket for applications as office assistant, clerk, or team assistant.

I find the funding options particularly practical. Employment agencies and job centers cover the costs via a Bildungsgutschein (education voucher). The career development service of the Bundeswehr, professional associations, and pension providers can also step in as cost bearers. Self-payers are also possible.
